The Bishops Wood Centre is a remarkable environmental educational partnership. Its success is supported by Worcestershire County Council, the National Grid Company and the Worcester College of Technology amongst others. The imagination, innovation and the vigour of its activities are in large measure due to the Centre Leader, John Rhymer, and to his able and committed staff. As a Centre it has national and international status for the quality of its educational, environmental and the range of its sustainable activities. ( )
The purpose built Centre with its wide range of facilities and features includes ancient woodland, meadows, ponds, a Saxon Hall and a range of other innovative and unusual constructions offering an unrivalled breadth of educational experiences and environmental opportunities. ( )
